Hi Ladies,
Greetings from D.C.! We actually decided to go here instead of Charleston. My parent's used to own a company that had an office in D.C., so I pretty much grew up here. My parents would go every other week and we would get to come up to go to the Smithsonian or shopping. It's probably my favorite city in America. I have never had a bad or even just okay meal here! Every time we go to a restaurant it's phenomenal!
The other great thing about D.C. is that even though it's a major city, it's small enough to get around. It's not like NY where if you find a wonderful restaurant, it might involve an hour commute to get there. I also love D.C.'s diversity. Phoenix and Charlotte aren't exactly major melting pots, but here in D.C. there are tons of Ethiopians, Arabs and Asians. Of course, all of those ethnicities bring their own special background and flavor to the city, so you can have an amazing dim sum meal for brunch, a wonderful Ethiopian meal for lunch and round it off with the best middle eastern in the world for dinner! Sigh...
Today I thought would share a few outtakes that didn't' make it to the blog. Generally that happens when most of the full length pictures turn out crappy. Enjoy the last few days of summer and can't wait to catch up with you tomorrow.
Fun looks! have fun in DC!

I was only in DC once when I was 9. It was cold and the White House was closed. That I haven't been back is terrible of me.
ReplyDeleteEnd of summer?!! Looks like we are just gearing up for summer out here in the West. Ugh. We've got at least two more months left of hot hot hot.
