Hi Ladies,
Is it just me or do you hate seeing christmas gift lists that are too expensive, too impractical or both? I'm never going to spend $50 on a gold plated ashtray...I'd rather just buy my friend a gift certificate from her favorite store. So, here is a list of things that are truly unique, affordable and cool. (I'd be happy to receive any of them. :)) Also, in case you were wondering..this is NOT a sponsored post.
Stocking Stuffers
My cat looooves the dust bunnies and wooly ping pong bolls...she goes through them like candy. What I love is that they are all natural and organic. My cat literally gnaws on toys until they fall apart, so I reject cat toys with chemicals because I'm afraid of what she's ingesting. They also sell dog toys, although I obviously haven't tried them. :)
Girl Blox Toys and Apparel $10-$40
Touted as "Building games for girls to inspire future engineers". As a technology professional, this is dear to my heart. You have no idea how many times I've been told "you don't look like someone who'd go into IT"...I don't even know what to say to that. As a plus, get a girl power kick when you watch the cute video here!
Gifts
Michelle Baron Custom Greeting Card $40Want to have an artist create a custom illustration of you and put it on a greeting card? I would! This artist does a lot of Blog logos and they remind me of really cute fashion illustrations. I would love to see pictures of how yours turn out!
I know that this is more of a niche item, but I have several friends and family members who are plus size and it's hard for them to find stylish, affordable clothes. This company has stores in the northwest and sells online. Thanks to Crash Beauty for alerting me to this site!
You gotta really love this person!
Juicy Canvas Custom Self Portrait and Animal Portraits $150Right now Juicy Canvas is raising money through Indiegogo and are offering these perks at a $150 donation. I think these are super cute and you can check out more of the artists' pet illustrations here and self portraits here. If anyone gets these done, I would love to see the pictures!
How beautiful are these!?! The price isn't too crazy for a limited edition giclee print and they are just as vivid in person! If you are in Atlanta, you can check out the studio in person.
Ooh, those wooly ping pong balls are cute - my 50lb pup would probably consume them like popcorn but my BF's mom's wee shih tzu would probably love them!
ReplyDeleteMerrie Thanks for including me!
ReplyDeleteEshakti is also a fantastic place to shop if you are looking for dresses in any size. They also tailor make them.
best,
Chrissy of crashbeauty.com
I've always wanted to try them, have you?
