Hi Ladies,
As you probably know, wearing a midi skirt when you are short or curvy can be very tricky. We've probably all tried them on and wondered who designed this!?!?!?! Who would make a skirt that cuts off at the most unattractive length (mid calf) and can instantly make you look short and stumpy? Well, the answer is simple...if you get the right cut, a midi skirt can make you look long and lean!
I think that the pencil skirt variety is the most flattering cut for petite or curvy women. You will also definitely want to wear heels, probably ones w/o ankle straps. This skirt is a perfect example of how, if you find one that skims your curves, a midi skirt can be very flattering. Now, I wouldn't actually wear this particular skirt in the workplace. This one is made from a jersey material, so it's quite "form fitting in the back". :) I would look for one that is made from a stiffer cotton, poly, spandex blend. Or, wear a long cardi that covers your behind. :)

Wow! You are so right! A midi skirt does not look frumpy if it is a pencil skirt! Fantastic!
