I know I promised you reviews of Nailette and Petit Vour along with this review, however my Nailette subscription doesn't start until Feb and Petit Vour is delayed due to the snow storms. :( So, with that you can exhale...I will post them as soon as I get them! (Want to know what those services are? Click here.) But, I did get my Stich Fix Box!!

Who Did It Better? You Decide! (An easy way to layer perfumes)
VS.
Hi Ladies,
I need your help! On the left side we have Merrie K., the reigning new-comer to the world of perfume modeling. On the right we have Keira Knightly, an internationally known actress, model and apparently the only person alive who truly captures the essence of Coco Chanel. Who is selling their perfume better??? (Please cast your vote in the comments below.)
Ok. Ok...be nice! :) I graciously concede the floor to Keira (even though she has an entire retinue of stylists, makeup artists, lighting assistants, photographers, photo retouchers and all I have is myself and a camera...but that's not the point!) She is truly a beautiful and talented woman. :)
So, as the Jo Malone ambassador in my home, what am I here to talk about today? It's that time of year again...when swarms of men (and women) decend upon the mall and beg cosmetic assistants to help them find perfume for their loved ones. So ladies, it's up to you to drop some key hints, so that you don't wind up with Macy's special of the week. Having said that, I highly recommend Jo Malone!
I love them because their fragrances are high quality, light, come in about 40 scents and are designed to be mixed and matched. My absolute favorite is Rose Water and Vanilla. It smells different every time I spray it. I've been wearing it for the past year, which is the longest I've ever worn a perfume. I also have never gotten so many complements on a scent!
So, how does scent layering work? You start off by choosing your main scent. I chose Rose Water and Vanilla, because I love vanilla.
To ensure that I never tire of it, I have the following scents to mix with it...
Great for winter...creates a warm, baked goods type of scent.
Adds a citrus note.
Adds a fresh note.
Enhances the sweetness of the vanilla.
1. Checkout Jo Malone's Fragrance Combining Tool
2. Visit Nordstroms and get samples of your favorite scents
3. Strategically leave them around your apartment/ home for your loved one to find. (Don't down play the power of propaganda...the more advertisements the better!)
This is not a paid advertisement. :( I received no compensation for this post in any form or fashion, although I would be happy to be their Brand Ambassador in the future. (Hint! Hint! PR Firms.)

My Gifts to Me for Xmas (January Wantable Accessory and Makeup Box Review/ We Are Onyx Review)
Hi Ladies,
I decided to treat myself to a few subscription services for christmas this year, but then a few became 5 and now I have 7! I had no idea that there are so many different types available now: vegan cosmetics, makeup only, jewelry only, clothing only...even one for rich folks that costs a $1000 a month (I am not making this up)! So check out below and see what the market has to offer. :)

When I first read this concept, I immediately poo-pooed it because I hate cheap looking jewelry. I thought that there was no way that you could deliver 4/5 pieces of jewelry for $36 that I would want to wear. However, when I got the box I was pleasantly surprised.
Other pluses are that the survey is extremely detailed. If you want to tell them that you hate acrylic bangles, but love leather cuffs...there is a question for you. They say that they will never send you what you dislike and send you most of what you love. I could see this service being great for people who want unique pieces of jewelry that your won't see on everyone else.

- Contents: I love the necklace and wore it that weekend. The teal earrings are super cute and something I would definitely grab. The ring is so-so, it fit a little tight and I feel kind old to be wearing a rhinestone heart, but it's not a big deal. I also love the dangly silver earrings that look like lace.
- Verdict: Very pleased. I will continue.

Highlights For Lazy Ladies - Ombre
Hi Ladies,
What do you think? I just got these highlights about a month ago, but haven't had a chance to post about them yet. My stylist used the Balayage technique, which produces an Ombre effect. I call this the "lazy" look because the roots are painted a color similar to your natural one, so when they grow out you can't tell the difference! That color then gradually blends into a lighter one until you get to the lightest color at the ends. Mine are pretty subtle, but if you look at the pictures below, you'll see that they can do some really cool things.
Have you tried any interesting hair colors before? Anyone considering color?
Here are some more examples:
(The photo of me was taken by Bree Hamilton of Bree Hamilton Photography. I don't have the sources for the celebrity pictures; they are from around the web.)

Pink Blazer and Blue Jeans
Me being silly :)
Hi Ladies,
Here's a great way to fight the winter blahs with a burst of color! In addition to denim, this blazer will look great with grey, navy, camo, animal prints and cobalt blue (if you are really bold). :) As a bonus, the jeans and blazer come in petite/regular, and the blazer and scarf are on sale.
Have a wonderful day!

Winter Coat Linkup (Winter 2013 Remix #8)
Hi Ladies,
Have you ever looked at a picture of yourself and seen someone else? Well this totally happened to me today. When I glanced at these pictures I saw Elle from Fast Food & Fast Fashion...check out this pic of her here. I'm like "Wait! A cute, asian lady hijacked my blog!...Oh wait, that's me." Maybe it's the glasses...maybe we have same shaped face...I don't know. Anyway, she's got super cute style so I'm flattered that I've confused myself with her. :)
Back to the topic of coats...today I have the pleasure of co-hosting a linkup on them with Elle from Living in Color Style and Jacqueline from Stylin' In St. Louis (going live thursday 1/9/14). I love this coat is by Bernardo because it folds down to the size of a sandwich baggie! It's great for traveling and filled with down so it's really warm. I took it to Chicago in January last year and it was perfect with a sweater. If you are looking for an upgrade, it's a great time to buy. (The one I have is sold out, but there are bunch of other styles below.) Also...it comes in petite, women and plus. :)
